A new study from the Society for the study of Ingestive Behaviour reveals why we can never seem to stay full after a meal rich in fat. Researchers from the University of Georgia, Washington State University and Binghamton University have subjected rats to a high fat diet and found microbes in their intestines can alter the signals to the brain that indicate being full.
